Krazy Native is one of the biggest Hip Hop artists in Uganda, and was nominated for Best Hip Hop Artist and Video in East Africa in 2005. As well as acting as a window into the African hip hop ‘industry’ (or lack thereof), Krazy’s journey over the course of the film is a wild ride as we accompany him from performing a free concert for HIV positive children at the Malago Hospital in Kampala, to the Hip Hop Awards and International Hip Hop summit in Johannesburg, South Africa. True to his name, he manages to do all of this with no visa, no passport, an empty bank account, and nothing but two days and the unwavering support of his family and friends.
